Are your fish wild or farm raised?

Safe Catch tuna, salmon, sardines, and mackerel are exclusively wild-caught from responsibly managed stocks and fisheries*. Safe Catch Smoked Trout is responsibly sourced from an ASC-Certified (Aqua Stewardship Council) trout farm. For more info check out our Sustainability and Socially Responsible Sourcing Policy.

*All of our fish are wild-caught from the ocean, and we do not use any fish that come from farms. Although "fishery" may sound like a farming term, it refers to an area of the Pacific Ocean off of North America (Canada and Alaska) that is open and wild but managed to keep salmon stocks healthy and prevent overfishing. The Alaska Salmon Fishery is open waters.
